Crosscutting Concepts today announced that it will conduct a hands-on workshop on forensic science at the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science (NATS) Fall Conference.

The workshop, titled “From the Crime Scene to the Classroom”, will feature the Mystery of Lyle & Louise kit “An Inky Lead,” introducing participants to questioned documents analysis. After analyzing the handwriting, participants will dissolve the ink from numbers on suspect invoices. Then, using thin layer chromatography, they will create an ink profile for each of the samples taken from the receipt.
