Try to imagine taking the responsibility of teaching a 3-year-old kid how to read and write. It sounds impossible, but it can be achieved. There is an easy way to do this and author Gheda Ismail, a passionate teacher and mother, has designed Look at Me, I can Read at 3, a practical book that will show readers how easy it is to teach a 3- to 4-year-old child to learn the fundamentals of reading and writing.

The program presented in this book is explained in 4 Do-It-Yourself Checklists. Anyone can implement the program using easy-to-obtain resources and simple instructions. A child can go from reading level 1 (no reading skills) to reading level 15 (mid-year 1 level reading) as they progress through the program, even before they enter school. Ismail’s daughter, Halima, is proof of the effectiveness of this program. She learned to read aged 3 years and 2 months, and now reading at level 20, she can read and write fluently a year before she is school age. This book will really assist parents in helping their kids learn how to read and write earlier than their school age.

Practical and filled with easy to follow instructions, Look at Me, I can Read at 3 is a fascinating and enjoyable guide to acquiring knowledge and wisdom – as well as a good instrument for parent and child bonding.
