A recent news article on Huff Post TV featured “Blood, Lies and Alibis” a show that takes a look back at 1970’s earliest and most disturbing serial killer cases. In line with this, a thrilling and intoxicating book titled “Renewal” showcases the story of an International serial killer on the loose. Written by author H. Berkeley Rourke, this heart pounding book follows through the bloody trail of a mysterious murderer whose killing spree expands from East to West.

Spreading havoc in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Arizona, California, Nevada and all the way to Mexico, an elusive man coolly takes one life after another. He is out in the streets hunting and calculatingly killing distinct groups of people. Prostitutes, pimps and gay men are his usual targets and no one knows where he will be heading next.

After a series of gruesome murders of ordinary people with questionable backgrounds and shady characters, he then makes a loud bang when he decides to kill the retired captain of the Phoenix Police Department. This time the authorities are shaken. They then embark on a determined quest to capture the dangerous culprit at all costs. Readers will be intrigued to find out how they chase a killer who has stealthily gotten away with murder numerous times in several different countries.

With capricious twists and turns and an exciting plot, this book illustrates the tendencies of a remorseless sociopath. Allowing readers to take a glimpse into the euphoria and despair that goes on in the mind of a murderer, this tale sends chills to the spine. Set in a place and time where simpler detective measures were used, Renewal will stimulate readers and give them a rich dose of unforgettable suspense.
