Hanley Wood LLC, the premier media and information company serving the construction and design industries, announced today the appointment of David Colford as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role Colford will lead robust and aggressive top-line growth programs for the company’s building product manufacturer (BPM) customer base. He will oversee all BPM sales and marketing strategy, operations and results, including corporate sales, media platform sales and strategic marketing services. Colford will report directly to Peter Goldstone, CEO of Hanley Wood.

Colford joins Hanley Wood with over 15 years of B2B sales and marketing experience. He has held leadership positions at several major B2B media companies including Ziff Davis Enterprise, CMP Media, InfoWorld Media Group and IDG. Most recently Colford served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Operations at Geeknet Media.
