Vendavo Increases Application Performance, Adds iPad and Salesforce Integration with New Version 8.1

Vendavo ® has announced general availability of version 8.1 of its software solution, which improves performance by up to 60% and extends powerful profit optimization capability to the Apple ® iPad ® and the Salesforce ® platform for the first time as a native application. Vendavo is the leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) Price Management and Optimization solutions.

A key feature of 8.1 is Price Protection and Price Cap. In complex business-to-business selling environments price changes are frequent and crucial to maintaining profitable sales during certain periods (for example, fluctuating commodity pricing). Vendavo's new Price Protection/Price Cap gives sellers insight into the impact of their pricing decisions on profitability, and allows them to enforce across-the-board pricing changes quickly and efficiently. This capability also gives selling organizations line-by-line visibility into how such changes and caps affect specific sales opportunities and deals.

With version 8.1, Vendavo has also brought the power to create, manage and optimize profitable transactions to the Apple iPad. Avoiding the common trap of merely giving browser-based access to pricing automation tools, Vendavo has developed a native iOS application, optimized for efficient and intuitive use in real time, during sales negotiations. The Vendavo Price Negotiator for iPad is now available at the Apple App Store.
