Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2012
Campbell Window Film, announces today that the CEO Brad Campbell, will be participating in the 19th annual Stairclimb LA charity event to benefit the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA on September 28th. The event will take place at the US Bank Tower, which is not only the tallest building in California, but is in fact the tallest building west of the Mississippi.
Participants in the event will be climbing just under 1,700 stairs, or 75 stories, to increase awareness and to raise funds for the YMCA. The event raises vital funds to support critical programs for children, teens, families and seniors in the community. Programs include but are not limited to daycare, after school tutoring, college counseling, and an ambitious initiative to offer free health screenings and educational workshops to approximately 2,000 children, families, and seniors every year.
Stairclimb LA is an essential fundraising effort of the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA, but not the only philanthropic endeavor in which the Campbell Window Film team participates.
“We want to encourage a corporate atmosphere that rewards a sense of altruism,” stated Brad Campbell, Chief Executive Officer of Campbell Window Film. “Whenever we participate as an organization in efforts to improve the community, I am always pleasantly reminded of the camaraderie and selflessness of our team. I am lucky to be able to work with such a good group of people on a daily basis.”
“Brad has been involved with many charities over the years,” commented Nora Borcea Pullen, Chief Operations Officer of Campbell Window Film. “Whether it’s contributing to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, organizing our annual canned food drive, or deciding to run up 75 flights of stairs, Brad is always reminding us that there are multiple ways each of us can contribute to the betterment of society at large.”
