Modern Day Marine is co-sponsored by Marine Military Expositions and Marine Corps Base, Quantico, and provides an opportunity for Marines to see, first hand, the latest equipment and systems being designed for military operational use. The show’s mission is to assist the Marine Corps to identify and procure the best products and services to help their war fighting efforts.

Lex Products is a Prime Vendor for USMC MEPDIS-R (Mobile Electric Power Distribution System Replacement) Power Distribution Systems. The Lex Products designed MEPDIS-R system is the first commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) power distribution system to be used by the Department of Defense.

A few of the military products highlighted at the Lex Products booth include:

EverGrip MIL-DTL-22992 Class L Cable Assemblies: 60 Amp and 100 Amp overmolded Class L cable extensions and tie-ins feature Lex Products’ patented EverGrip molding design, which provides enhanced safety and durability for military applications. A proprietary dual-molding process ensures dependable service and long cable life.

EverGrip MIL-DTL-5015 Cable Assemblies: This new line of EverGrip cable assemblies includes the 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 Cable Extension, the EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Box Cable Assembly and the EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Stringer. These military assemblies were designed to distribute power from portable distribution boxes in tents and shelters to power lights, computers and light tools in expeditionary environments.

PowerHOUSE 30 Amp Military Portable Power Distribution Box: This 3 Phase box features a fully insulated, heavy-duty molded rubber enclosure with HDPE top and bottom to provide superior impact, weather, chemical and shock resistance. The box is designed to be used in shelters and tents to provide convenient 20 Amp receptacles to power lights, computers and light tools on expeditionary military bases.
