Tampa, FL (PRWEB) September 24, 2012
Kristen Levine, pet lifestyle expert and founder and president of the pet-focused PR agency Fetching Communications, will be dancing for the benefit of two pet organizations on October 13, 2012 in Tampa Bay's Dancing With The Stars, for Julie Weintraub’s Hands Across the Bay. Companies sponsoring Levine in the dance competition include Tampa-based Hooters and Dimmitt Automotive Group, along with Palm Harbor businesses, Casa Ludivico and Elite Body Fitness.
Of the five beneficiaries of this year’s event, Levine feels strongly about Saddle Up Riding Club, whose vision is to provide the highest quality therapeutic horseback riding and related activities to all those who can benefit, and Suncoast Animal League, which takes in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals. Suncoast provides medical treatment, shelter, socialization and plenty of love to the animals while they wait for their forever home. Information about all benefiting charities can be found at http://www.dancingforcharity.com/beneficiaries.
"I believe strongly that animals and people together offer one another innumerable benefits. They make us laugh, reduce stress, promote physical activity, and they promote well-being and self worth," says Levine. "While you can’t help me be a better dancer – that’s the job of my fabulous dance partner, Alberto Tabares at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in St. Petersburg – I'd so appreciate it if my colleagues and friends in the pet and vet industries, and locally here in Tampa, can help me support these great causes and share our mutual love for pets."
Levine and Hands Across the Bay hope to reach their fundraising goal for Saddle Up, Suncoast Animal League and the other great causes. If you would like to help, here are three ways to get involved:
1. Vote for Kristen Levine! A $10 tax deductible contribution will help the charities through Hands Across the Bay. Voting closes on October 12, 2012 at 11:59 pm.
2. Share the news about Levine's goal on Facebook and Twitter.
3. Attend the star-studded, spectacular event in Tampa Bay with a ballroom seat or suggest a sponsor! More info here.
