Fairies, goblins, witches, elves, trolls, mermaids, dragons, lords, kings and queens—these are just few of the magical creatures that await fantasy fiction fans in Nils Telle’s new book titled The Magical Forest. Telle’s short fiction book carries within it special lessons woven into an adventure story about how the world saves a magical forest and all its creatures from dying.

The story opens with Johan, a humble woodchopper’s son, traveling through eerie woods where he could hear the whispering sound of talking trees and feel eyes constantly observing him. Suddenly, he sees a vision of the most beautiful being he has ever seen: a being with soft warm brown hair falling into long curls, eyes of the deepest brown framed with such long lashes, colors of a rainbow as wings and butterflies swirling around her—the Queen of the Forest. The Queen waves her wand and the adventures of Haden, Johan’s brave father who saved the kingdom from King Yang, unfold before his eyes.

Telle explains that the tale actually began over 300,000 years ago and has been handed down through the centuries for everyone to enjoy and to learn from. It encourages people to dream their dreams for life is full of wonders beyond their wildest thoughts. It exhorts them to always unite in harmony for all are born equal.

Magical, mysterious and lesson-filled, The Magical Forest invites readers to sit back, relax and simply be aware as their minds wander into a far off place, in a real world known only to a few who believe. This is one fantasy book that will be endearing to the hearts of children and adults alike.

Nils Telle was born in Victoria, Australia, and of Norwegian descent. He always enjoyed writing short stories poems and quotes. He has travelled throughout Australia and the world but his four children, Sharon Ann and Nils William, Brandon and Krystal Ray are his greatest loves. He believes that people are a gift from above and every footprint they leave in “The Sand of Time” is one to cast back on with happiness that overrides the trial they all go through in their lives. Even if only one of his short stories opens up readers’ thoughts, he feels that his writing would already be a success.
