From Jarrod Sayer, a teen author with a great love and passion for writing, The Freedom Riders and the Lost Scroll of Atlantis is a heart-pounding debut novel about family and friendship, dreams and destiny. Sayer’s work is not simply a literary achievement, but a personal testimony that dreams are never too lofty nor impossible if people put their hearts into attaining them.

Sayer’s breathes life into a young hero, named Jet, with whom he shares similar dreams, hopes and aspirations to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Jet has always moved from one house to another every week. He often wonders why they have to live a seemingly nomadic life and move around so often. Gradually, he begins to come to terms why his life seems to be apart from the ordinary.

Jet eventually finds out that he is of noble birth. He is a prince of The Freedom Riders, caught up in a race against time to find the magic scrolls. Unfortunately, he is also in a race against his very own uncle Shadow who, like him, is also prince. However, his uncle Shadow has a heart filled with malice and evil, and is responsible for the murder of Jets father. To equip himself for the ultimate faceoff, Jet goes to the Freedom Riders’ academy to learn magic.

With a thrilling race with unexpected twists and turns, Sayer successfully crafts an exhilarating adventure fiction for his debut in the publishing industry. The Freedom Riders and the Lost Scroll of Atlantis will not only earn a place in bookshelves, but also in hearts of people who want to follow their dreams and fulfill their destiny.
