Honda CR-Z Hybrid Redesigned

Honda Motor Co. is set to reveal its newest CR-Z hybrid design at the Paris Motor Show. The electric motor and the gasoline engine have been reworked and upgraded, while fog lamp housing and front grille styling also saw design changes. Originally conceived as the ‘Compact Renaissance Zero’ (CR-Z), Honda is expected to release complete specs on the new car in late September. For the complete story, see:

Lexus LF-CC Concept

The Lexus LF-CC concept hybrid will debut at the Paris Motor Show later this month. What is thought to be an in-development IS, the automaker says the designation stands for Lexus Future Coupe Concept. The hybrid powertrain on the concept car will start showing up on other Lexus models in the near future. Sporting up-sized air intakes and grille, the car’s door handles and headlamps have been melded into the exterior façade. For the complete story, see:

Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive

Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will unveil its newest concept car at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, which opens its doors to the media on Sept. 27. The B-Class Electric Drive, with a range of 124 miles per charge and a 100 kW electric motor, looks to go on sale sometime in 2014. For the complete story, see:

Tesla Stock Upgraded by Morgan Stanley

Financial services corporation Morgan Stanley has upgraded Tesla Motors’ stock. Immediately following the public announcement of the upgrade, the automaker’s stock price rose 6 percent in a single trading session. Tesla’s target stock price was raised from $45 to $50. For the complete story, see:
