Drilling and Pumping Supplies Enhance Sales into Republic of Ireland with Orders of €1.6M

Since their foundation in 1983, Drilling and Pumping Supplies established itself as a major supplier for market leading high quality pumping equipment. DPS holds dealership contracts with a number of the most prominent manufacturers in the industry, such as KSB, DAB, Seepex, Landia, Ebara and Fristam.

The company has experienced exceptional growth in the Republic of Ireland over the past number of years and in the last quarter has seen an order intake in excess of €1.6M on 4 major supply projects.

These orders include the supply of 5 Vertical Turbine pumps. The 375kw units each deliver 152 l/s of seawater to the newly installed fire main at Dublin Port. In addition to this, the company has also supplied the pumps for a retrofit of a number of dewatering stations in the Shannon Basin. A total of eight pumps were supplied from the KSB Amacan range and each unit is designed to pump 2 tonnes of water per second.

The company is also involved in the supply of 14 high efficiency pumps for the transfer of aggressive chemicals. This solution has been supplied to one of Ireland’s most prominent electronics manufacturers. In addition to these projects there has been the supply of pumps for a large water treatment plant in West Dublin. This consists of a total of 19 pumps, 16 of which are from the KSB KRT submersible pump range; these are accompanied by 3 high capacity axial flow intake pumps, which are again from the KSB Amacan range.

These orders have put the company into an increasingly strong position within the Irish market.
