TASC Shows ADAPT Tool at Modern Day Marine Expo.

ADAPT reduces labor costs associated with compliance and reporting. When you automate these processes, human resources can be applied where they are needed most in order to rapidly and efficiently meet the warfighter's needs.

As federal agencies strive to manage a shrinking national budget, it is critically important to deliver affordable weapons and equipment to our warfighters, according to systems engineering experts at TASC, Inc. Program managers charged with achieving this goal need tools that reduce the time to meet defense acquisition procedures and compliance reporting in order to meet budget expectations and maintain mission readiness.

“Program managers must be able to understand and correlate actual system performance, cost, schedule and risk to the requirement,” says Tom Kilcline, vice president of Naval Programs at TASC. “Articulating and demonstrating a thorough program understanding requires a comprehensive automated resource for program management, traceability and trend analysis that provides flexibility and customization.”

At Modern Day Marine, a military expo at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA, TASC systems engineers will demonstrate TASC’s Automated Defense Acquisition Project Management Toolkit (ADAPT), which can significantly reduce (up to 50 percent) the time required to execute labor-intensive tasks for DoD 5000, FAR/DFARS and MIL-STD processes and procedures.

“ADAPT reduces labor costs associated with compliance and reporting,” says Kilcline. “When you automate these processes, human resources can be applied where they are needed most in order to rapidly and efficiently meet the warfighter's needs.”

For an ADAPT demonstration, visit the TASC Booth 1501 at Modern Day Marine on September 25-27.
