About the Innovation and Vision Award
At each year's AMF Gala, the AMF Innovation and Vision Award is presented to recognize an individual's extraordinary commitment to the advancement of the human condition through humanitarian efforts. It is an acknowledgement of that individual's contribution to positively transform the manner in which society responds to unmet human needs.
AMF forms a team that evaluates potential candidates for their degree of commitment, which is expressed through his or her efforts. The major considerations include the effect that commitment has had in inspiring others. The actual award is an exquisite hand-crafted piece of art created in bronze and glass by Robert Work. It depicts a man and woman supporting the world, and includes the AMF logo atop North America.
