The changes, which Facebook announced, affect websites that use the Like button, they now offer two ways of integrating the like button with your page. As well as that each individual page of a website can be liked increasing the overall likability of a site.
While these changes are not “game changers” they are a step in the right direction for business owners and show allow a website to increase it’s social profile.
“For a while now social media interactions with a site have helped to drive search engine rankings, this latest change by Facebook should make it easier to measure this affect. The thought process of getting more likes is sound as long as they are targeted and adding value to a business,” Junghenn said.
