Dr. Sassani has a special interest in implant based breast cancer reconstruction. He is excited to be involved with the first annual BRA Day which will raise funds to educate women on their breast reconstruction options at the time of mastectomy. He is also happy that his two new associates will augment and complete the range of reconstruction options available to his patients by performing autologous breast reconstruction with the patient’s own tissues, such as latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flaps and TRAM flaps, as well as highly specialized microvascular techniques such as DIEP, SIEA, and TUG flaps.
Dr. Sassani has been providing the most advanced techniques in reconstructive surgery in South Florida as well as offering a wide array of cosmetic surgery including facial aesthetic surgery, body contouring, and breast augmentation in Fort Lauderdale.
