The conference, Leveraging Social Media to Increase Our Association Fundraising, is geared toward association executives and will allow attendees to learn more about various social media tools available and how they can be used to help nonprofit fundraising efforts. The panel will feature Raphael as well as Natalie M. Zundel, manager, Major Gifts, American Society of Civil Engineers Foundation, and Dana A. Camacho, senior manager of development, American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
Specific topics panelists will discuss include:
- How an association foundation can benefit from broader social-media outreach and how to choose the best networks for its audience
- Current best practices to better position the organization for greater success
- How to further build a culture of social media for the association foundation
- How to define a unique voice for the Association Foundation social media campaign, yet work within the larger Association framework to improve effectiveness
- How to connect with a supportive network of association fundraising professionals.
The panel discussion will take place at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, One North Wacker Drive, Suite 400, Chicago, IL, between noon and 1:30 p.m. on September 27. This program is part of AFG Chicago’s quarterly educational programs held throughout the metropolitan Chicago area.
