Emmy Award Winning Producer of "Glee" and "Six Feet Under" Wants to Do Lunch With Seattle Writers

Emmy award winning producer Robert Del Valle will share stories from behind the scenes of Glee, Six Feet Under, “Ally McBeal”, “Melrose Place”, “Northern Exposure”, and “The Wonder Years,” as part of a luncheon workshop for Seattle’s aspiring writers, filmmakers, screenwriters and producers, at The Writer’s Lodge in Queen Anne this Saturday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Emmy award winning producer Robert Del Valle will share stories from behind the scenes of Glee, Six Feet Under, “Ally McBeal”, “Melrose Place”, “Northern Exposure”, and “The Wonder Years,” as part of a luncheon workshop for Seattle’s aspiring writers, filmmakers, screenwriters and producers, at The Writer’s Lodge in Queen Anne this Saturday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets include lunch and are available for $35 at http://thewriterslodge.brownpapertickets.com/.

Robert Del Valle attended the UCLA film school, and after cutting his teeth on several low budget indie's joined the Directors Guild of America, working as an assistant director, then unit production manager, and finally producer. Bob has been nominated for two Emmy Awards, two Producers Guild of America Awards, and, as part of the director’s team, nominated seven times for the DGA Award, receiving one for the pilot of “Six Feet Under”.

Last year found him producing the hit series "Glee". Before that he was involved with various episodic series including “True Blood”, “UnderCovers”, “Swingtown” “Shark”, “Ally McBeal”, “Melrose Place”, “Northern Exposure”, and “The Wonder Years”. He has the distinction of producing the HBO television series “Six Feet Under” throughout its five-season run. He has also worked on the PBS miniseries “Tales of the City “, the ABC miniseries “Stephen King’s The Shining”, and currently is hard at work on a comedy pilot for HBO.
