ROCKPORT, Mass. – Post-World War I Paris is brought to life in the pages of “Diary of a French Girl” (published by AuthorHouse), the vividly detailed memoir by Zéphanie.

Zéphanie transports readers back to Paris circa 1925, the year she was born, and chronicles her upbringing there through 1947. She writes about what life was life during World War II and occupation, and how the resistance movement in France helped the fallen pilots that parachuted into German encampments.

Through it all, Zéphanie maintained her commitment to compassion and kindness, regardless of circumstance. “There are heroes born among us every day, but they too often remain unsung,” she writes.

Zéphanie is one of those heroes. “Diary of a French Girl” shows how she handled tragedy and horror with grace and dignity, eventually making her way to England and then to America. This fascinating story will captivate readers from all walks of life.

“Today, society is involved in survival, overcoming recession, poverty and lack of work. My book shows how to handle most hardship, and win.”
