Ritz-Craft Chosen for Hotel Project in Williston, North Dakota

Ritz-Craft system-built / modular structures meet the high demand for quality, sustainable living accommodations in a booming energy industry.

Ritz-Craft Corporation announced an agreement today with GDH Housing, LLC located in Covington, Louisiana to construct, deliver and install a 30,000 sq. ft. hotel located in Williston, North Dakota. The hotel, which will take 48 modular units to construct, will stand three stories tall and will boast 77 rooms.

The need for this hotel is driven by the demand for quality living accommodations necessary to support the gas/oil exploration effort in the massive Bakken oil field. Last year this oil field produced more than 128 million barrels and is estimated to have a reserve of around 3.7 billion barrels.

Williston, North Dakota, is the fastest-growing micro area in the country due to the success of this oil field. Such rapid growth presents several challenges in providing sustainable housing to keep pace with the overwhelming demand.

Ritz-Craft’s high quality construction standards, and its capacity to manufacturer over a million square feet of system-built / modular residential structures, year over year, provided the optimal solution for GDH Housing.

Production on the hotel is expected to commence early fourth quarter of 2012 and the building will be ready for occupancy in the first quarter of 2013.

Ritz-Craft Corporation is a privately held, vertically integrated company headquartered in Mifflinburg PA. With its roots in residential homebuilding dating back to 1954, Ritz-Craft Corporation has risen to be an industry leader in the system-built / modular industry. The company has additional production facilities in Michigan and North Carolina. For more information about homes by Ritz-Craft, visit http://www.ritz-craft.com or call 800-326-9836.
