London (PRWEB UK) 27 September 2012
It would appear that starting a business during a recession can lead to success. Employing a new business model, utilizing both in-house skills and blending that with expert associates has enabled hedspace, a media design studio in Hackney, to step up a gear. Showcasing their latest work on their new website http://www.hedspace.net they have worked closely with clients to produce outstanding results.
hedspace media were asked to complete a funky pop video of the song ‘Candy Rain’ covered by a new unsigned Girl band called ‘Primrose Hill’. The band, managed by Steve Jevier who previously had a no1 record with Take That, wanted to stay away from the over-produced Hollywood feel and ensure the band’s music video was unique and identifiable to their target audience. The video has now been uploaded to youtube.com and achieved 30,000 hits in less than two weeks. Given the magic touch that Steve has, we expect impressive things to come. The video which can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2H-UaZzmnE was designed to have a debut feel, keeping it local with a ‘Primrose Hill’ London feel, full of fun and youthful energy.
With the Puppini Sisters we have helped the Band get their image back. Like the Andrews Sisters, who took a genre of music to the top of popular American culture between the 30s and 50s, the Puppini Sisters, who are signed to Universal Music Classics & Jazz, have become synonymous with the intoxicating mix of music and style they call Swing-Pop. They have carved out a new audience for the genre having worked with some of the contemporary greats such as Michael Bublé. With a recent change to their line up, hedspace's fashion and lifestyle creative director Jason Halsey worked with the girls on a fresh new look for the introduction of Terrianne Passingham, who joins Kate Mulling and Marcella Puppini, in a new incarnation of group. Check out there latest look on the hedspace website blog where we will announce their upcoming video sometime soon.
Thinking creatively in the fashion world.
Creative Fashion Director, Jason Halsey has joined hedspace and visited the brands that were selling their wears as part of the shopping experience at London Fashion Week. Introductions were made with some great emerging brands along with a few established favourites that we are keen to work with. One emerging talent in particular was a jewellery designer from Bristol, whose work had been incorporated into knitwear giving it an interesting and fresh look. And in-roads have been made with a luxury brand at a Sloane Street store, with which we look forward to developing a working relationship.
