Game Allows Users to Prevent Opposing Party From Winning White House

We believe a game of this complexity, with data analysis and polling technology, is a first for a conservative group.

Today, RightChange.com, Inc., debuted “White House Tower Defense,” an online interactive game that allows Democrats and Republicans to fight for control of the White House by preventing the other side from gaining 270 electoral votes. The game is unique, in that it has a built in polling component that tracks the players’ answers to political questions. To play “White House Tower Defense,” please visit http://whtd2012.com/.

“Right Change wanted to produce an interactive political game for both sides of the aisle,” said Steve Sanford, executive producer of RightChange. “With the Obama and Romney campaigns spending their efforts attacking each other, we wanted to create something fun that people across the political spectrum could enjoy. We believe a game of this complexity, with data analysis and polling technology, is a first for a conservative group.”

The goal of the game is to prevent the opposing party – either the Democratic donkeys or the Republican elephants – from reaching the White House, by placing obstacles, or “towers,” in their path. The towers include news organizations, candidates, the Tea Party, and Occupy Wall Street.

Sanford continued, “RightChange has built a powerful technology platform, assembled a creative group of content producers, and rapidly grown to more than 2,808,000 active Facebook followers, in just a few months. Our goal is to work with game creators and other technology innovators to reach and persuade voters.”
