Mainstreet at Midtown, a popular shopping, dining and entertainment destination for residents with homes in Palm Beach Gardens, celebrated its end-of-the-summer season with an energetic concert by Miami-based band JUKE.
The outdoor performance attracted not only local homeowners but also visitors from as far north as Stuart and as far south as Delray Beach, all of whom piled onto the plaza to rock the night away.
“The band was fantastic,” Mainstreet at Midtown Marketing Coordinator Belle Forino said. “We’ll definitely book them again for our ‘Music on the Plaza’ concert. Very hip, with lots of energy -- great for Midtown.”
“Music on the Plaza” has become one of Midtown’s signature events. It features a concert a week from January through April.
“‘Music on the Plaza’ will be going into its fourth season this year and runs each Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.,” Forino said. “Our crowds increase dramatically during season.”
The summer addition to the concert series was new this year and will continue in 2013, she said.
The live entertainment is an asset to the community and makes investing in Palm Beach Gardens real estate an appealing option for those thinking about relocating to the area. Midtown’s other offerings are a stellar lineup of restaurants. Christopher’s Kitchen is a refreshing raw-foods establishment that uses local ingredients, and Chuck Burger Joint, in addition to serving grilled and fried favorites, offers Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.
The shopping is as varied as the dining with such stores as Aqua Home & Design and Diana Classic Children. There’s also a gallery featuring work by local artists.
