Ottumwa, IA (PRWEB) September 26, 2012
Ottumwa based mobile app developer, Full Sea Productions, announced today that its newest title, BusterBall™, will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Grass Roots Gaming Expo being held at the Ottumwa Bridge View Center October 12th – 14th. This new game for the Apple® iOS platforms is an entirely new and noteworthy approach to the casual game marketplace with its addictive game play, fun, interactive characters, and unique brand of humor. BusterBall brings a new level of entertainment to the mobile gaming platform. The game is slated to be released later this year.
BusterBall is the first AAA video game to be produced in the Video Game Capital of the World, Ottumwa, Iowa. It will take players on an eclectic trip through time and space. Players will be whisked away on a journey taking them from the Wild West through Victorian Era Villages to be spooked in Graveyards and a Haunted Mansion. Players will continue game play by exploring Dark Jungles and Desert Oasis destined to arrive in an Egyptian Paradise.
BusterBall is designed around a unique video game playability concept that combines aspects of Golf, Demolition Bowling, and Dynamite Fishing to entice players to shoot their balls across a wide assortment of quirky playing fields in the direction of the game’s star character; “Buster”. Players are encouraged to fling their balls at Buster in each of these strange new lands with fun and exciting game items such as; exploding barrels, unexplored tunnels, magnetrons, and even repelling mushrooms, just to name a few. Players who are successful in their game play will collect great rewards and achievements, but players who struggle to master the game can be subjected to Buster’s sometimes edgy and always fun sense of humor. Players will need to watch out because when they think they have mastered one of the many playing courses, they will soon discover the loveable, yet mischievous, furball of a character named “Pipes”. Pipes will do what he can to make game play progressively more difficult as players unlock levels in their ultimate quest to explore each new and exciting location of adventure. Players will not need to worry though, they will have ample opportunity to thwart the antics of “Pipes” (and really tick-off the game’s main character, “Buster”, at the same time).
