Join comic John Powers one Saturday a month at EastVille Comedy Club for The Power Hour Comedy Show. Hosted by Nigel Fullerton, the show features some of the best comedians in New York City. The Power Hour has been running since 2008. Judah Friedlander, Yannis Pappas, Jessimae Peluso, Sergio Chicon, Colin Cosell, Nicole Korkolis, Chad Shapiro, Jeff Lawrence, and Rachel Feinstein have all performed at The Power Hour.

John Powers has a quick wit and a slightly askew view of the world which lends his comedy to exaggerated, abstract, yet obvious truths. He has written several parody songs and plans to release a full-length comedy album. Once a week he writes the male perspective for a dating & relationships advice blog on The Comedy Point, and also contributes a weekly rant (RUFKM - Are You F***in' Kidding Me) to the Anti-Semantic Show podcast.

John has also performed at: Caroline's on Broadway, Standup New York, Laugh Lounge, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, The Stand NYC, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and Broadway Comedy Club.
