There are available books that tell men how to dance. But why should men want to dance when it’s always been one of the most feared activities a man can be asked or expected to do? Why are so many men missing out on that special dance with a loved one, or perhaps with an exciting stranger? Why do men experience a weakness in the knees when dance music begins and their significant other looks at them adoringly and imploringly to dance with them? That can change. Confidence on the dance floor can make a world of difference.
Become a Man of Confi-Dance written by Raoul Weinstein addresses the question of why dance? The joys and benefits gained from knowing how to dance confidently can be an enormous enhancement to a man’s life. Boys not yet in their teens, high school guys, young men in their twenties or thirties or forties, men in their midlife years, and even seniors in their retirement years—this book is addressed to them all.
The book is divided into five sections: “Self-Esteem,” “Happiness,” “Romance,” “Adventure,” and “The Dancer’s World,” those areas in which dancing confidently can make the greatest impact. Each of Weinstein’s ideas and topics are placed into the section that each fits best, but some may straddle the line between more than one. Readers may want to read it in the order in which it is presented, but may opt to jump in and out of the sections in the order that may be dictated by their particular interests
More men need to find the enrichment that dancing, not watching, brings to their lives and the lives of those around them. Becoming a Man of Confi-Dance can and will change the lives of men as it did for Weinstein if only for one special moment or for the rest of their lives. The smile on the face of a daughter or a wife when their father or husband dances with them for the very first time will stay in their hearts and create memories that will remain forever. Learn how dancing impacted the author’s life allowing him to transition from being an outsider to an insider and changing his life forever by being the perfect combination of physical activity, social interaction and mental stimulation.
Become a Man of Confi-Dance is just as vital for ladies whose husbands or significant others won’t dance. Changing the attitude of their men with regards to dancing can enhance or breathe new life into long-term relationships, or even help ignite new and exciting ones. With the popularity of shows like Dancing with the Stars, the world today promotes, encourages and idolizes dancing now more than ever. This timely book can help men confidently open the door and step out into this new and exciting world.
