"This is LPC' second TOBY win in the Phoenix area,” said Tammy Sidles, Director of Management Services, Lincoln Property Company Desert West Region. “We are pleased to be recognized for our proactive approach to managing our portfolio."

The Desert West Region office of Lincoln Property Company, a full-service real estate firm providing development, investment, property management, receivership, leasing and construction management, announced that their development project, the Arizona Game and Fish Department headquarters, received the “The Outstanding Building of the Year” (TOBY) award from the Greater Phoenix chapter of the National Association of Building Owners and Managers (BOMA).

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. The award, which was given in the government category, was announced at the recent TOBY event.

“This is our second TOBY win in the Phoenix area,” said Tammy Sidles, Director of Management Services, Lincoln Property Company Desert West Region. “LPC always takes a proactive approach to managing our portfolio, and this is an indicator of the high level of service provided to the tenant and owner of the project.”

“During the competition, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated,” said Mark Covington, Executive Director, BOMA of Greater Phoenix. “Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement and site management to environmental and "green" policies and procedures.”

"From the onset, Lincoln Property Company (LPC) and the Arizona Game and Fish Department established an outstanding working relationship. This includes everything since the beginning conceptual phase through the entire construction components of the project, and continues today with outstanding property management,“ said Mark Weise, Development Branch Chief, Arizona Game and Fish Department. “I believe this attests to the professional, quality personnel that LPC has assigned throughout this process."

The Arizona Game and Fish Department Headquarters was the first building in Phoenix, and fourth in the state, to garner the highest designation, Platinum, for environmentally friendly design and construction from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department facility and developer Lincoln Property Company have also received the first ever “LEED Certified Building of the Year” Award given by NAIOP, the Arizona Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

The 83,000-square-foot headquarters administration building is part of an 117,115-square-foot campus that also includes a 27,000 square foot warehouse/lab building and a vehicle maintenance facility. The facility also includes a 205-seat auditorium for department presentations and the publicly held meetings of the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. The department's headquarters complex is on approximately 24 acres located at 5000 W. Carefree Highway.

Lincoln Property Company was the developer. The general contractor for the project was Sundt Construction, architecture by Will Architects.
