York Coffee Emporium gets Involved with Local Food Festival

It’s been a busy year for the city of York, alongside welcoming the Olympic Torch in the city for a spectacular handover on horseback at the racecourse the city is in the middle of its 800th anniversary. It's also been a busy year for York Coffee Emporium who has seen fantastic growth under its new owners.

York & Yorkshire produces some of the finest food in the UK and it was important to us to play a central role on our home patch

York hosts a number of festivals across the year and one of the most popular is the fantastic Food and Drink Festival which is currently taking place until the 30th of September. York Food and Drink Festival is a 10 day event held in the centre of the historic city that promotes the quality and excellence of the food and drink produced within the local region.

The festival wants to share and highlight the local food heroes and the gastronomic delights of Yorkshire; through a mixture of stalls and demonstrations visitors can sample and buy some of the quality produce available. From kippers and salami to chocolates and coffee, Yorkshire is out to stamp its mark on the UK gastronomic map!
York Coffee Emporium is a York-based company offering an artisan coffee roasting service; they provide delicious coffees to local cafes, restaurants and businesses across the local areas as well as offering both green and roasted coffee beans for sale online.

As well as having a stall at each day of the Festival where visitors can purchase their freshly roasted coffee, York Coffee Emporium are also a sponsor of the event; a decision which highlights their commitment to being involved in the lively York food community.

The exciting news for York Coffee Emporium doesn’t end there though as they have used the Festival as an opportunity to show case their new packaging and labelling. The team at York Coffee Emporium have worked with local designer Kate Semple as well as Lollypop the Printers to create a fresh look to their packaging that matches their fantastic artisan coffee.

It’s an exciting time for York Coffee Emporium as the business continues to grow and their relationship with the city goes from strength to strength.
