Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) September 27, 2012
WeLearn Software’s Founder & CEO Kevin Giffhorn submitted a proposal for the 2012 SXSWEdu (South by Southwest Education) Conference being held March 4 – 7, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Giffhorn’s talk, titled, “Redesigning the Notebook for the Digital User," will discuss the way technology has played a key role in the classroom for the teacher but not the student. By utilizing tablets and new apps, students can completely transform the way they both organize and take notes in today’s tech centered classroom.
“From chalk boards to overhead projectors to today's interactive digital whiteboards, teachers are given the best tools available to help their students learn. However, students are still taking notes on the same notebooks their grandparents used. It's time the students are given the same tools for learning that the teachers possess,” said Giffhorn.
