World record holder and three-time All-American Rusty Squire has written his second training book for the Heart Rate Watch Company blog entitled, "How To Elevate Fitness With Strength & Interval Training".

The book is available for a limited-time as a free download from either the homepage of the Heart Rate Watch Company or at the Heart Rate Watch Company blog.

The first book published by the company was "How To Successfully Use A Heart Rate Monitor" and customers had such great success with this fitness foundation building book that Squire decided to pen the follow-up to it. "Strength and interval training is a natural part of the progression after one has developed an aerobic foundation", says Squire.

The two books in tandem were part of a series that, when combined, give people all the tools they need to develop strong and sensible training programs.

"There is too much misinformation out there nowadays", says Squire. He adds, "For instance timed rest periods are wrong, it is the heart rate reaching a recovered level that signifies the end of a rest interval, rather than time".
