XOS Digital, Inc. today announced a new service offering to create and manage official conference and team branded YouTube channels as part of the XOS Digital Sports Network. The announcement was made today by Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital.

“The XOS Digital Sports Network is a valuable addition to the ever-growing college sports offering on YouTube,” said Frank Golding, head of sports for North America, YouTube.                                                                                                                                            
XOS Digital will build and manage branded YouTube channels for several of its current collegiate athletic partners including: the Southeastern Conference, Big East Conference, Mid-American Conference, Southland Conference, the National Football Foundation, NCAA Football, the University of Florida and Florida International University, with more added in coming months. All of these channels are part of the XOS Digital Sports Network on YouTube which can be accessed at http://www.youtube.com/xossportsnetwork.

Through this new partnership, XOS Digital can now provide its sports partners with the ability to publish, manage and monetize original content and live events on the YouTube platform directly through the XOS Vault™ digital asset management system.

The official YouTube channels enable XOS Digital to publish partner events such as press conferences, interviews and awards ceremonies, and then make them available OnDemand immediately after they conclude. In addition, live events can be streamed on a YouTube channel, which provides partners with another opportunity to connect with fans. Plus, partners retain full editorial and creative control.

“We’re always looking to expand our digital network offering in ways that benefit the audiences we serve,” McCleary said. “Partnering with YouTube benefits both fans, by adding another convenient access point to watch their favorite sports videos, and brands, enabling them to expand their reach.”

XOS Digital will work with partners to customize, enhance and manage their existing YouTube channels. For partners that do not already have a YouTube channel, the XOS Digital interactive design team will collaborate to develop a branded channel. The team also works directly with the appropriate partner staff to provide access to the XOS Vault for video upload and management, as well as to stream live events.
