Fortune 500 company adopts a new cloud platform to build and deploy cloud applications at reduced cost and greater speed.

Cordys, the Enterprise Cloud Platform provider, today announced that Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, has selected the Cordys Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Schneider Electric will use the Cordys Process Factory, a PaaS offering powered by the leading Cordys Business Operations Platform. The Cordys Process Factory is a subscription service that provides a cloud environment for developing browser-based process-centric solutions and the engine to run these next generation composite applications.

Herve Coureil, Chief Information Officer at Schneider Electric, commented: “We constantly need to develop new custom-made solutions that also need to be extremely connected to the underlying back-end systems. Cordys uniquely enables the orchestration of multiple services and applications and “on-the-fly” integration with existing systems and cloud services.”

“Cordys Process Factory provides one of the most productive, complete and enterprise-ready environments for building cloud applications,” said Cordys CEO Art Landro. “It helps companies, like Schneider Electric, to empower employees, and quickly build business focused solutions while decreasing application development costs. It helps the business to get more of what it wants from IT including faster rollout of new capabilities, and it helps IT to offer innovation at reduced cost.
