Baughman will be responsible for driving AECOM’s overall business strategy in the region.
With more than 25 years of experience in the engineering, construction and maintenance industry, Baughman is an expert in developing and leading diverse business operations through a career that has encompassed executive positions in finance, operations, sales, marketing and project development.

Prior to joining AECOM, Baughman served as president of Mustang Engineering, L.P.’s Process Plants & Industrial business unit — providing process solutions to a wide range of companies around the world. Baughman started his career at Fluor Corporation and later joined Washington Group International, Inc., where he served as president of the firm’s Industrial Process business unit. In this role he was responsible for the unit’s growth and operations, serving a variety of Fortune 500 firms in markets such as automotive; oil and gas; chemical process; pulp and paper; food and beverage; general manufacturing; pharmaceuticals; biotech and facilities management; and global maintenance.
