In author Dimmon’s compelling book, Magic Spell of the Castle Ruin, an old legend seems to play a part in a blossoming romance. However, the relationship is not one of the ordinary; because at the heart of this novel is a love triangle, where a young woman is caught between two potential loves: a rakish man she is passionately attracted to, and a good man she feels comfortable with.

Set against the backdrop of 19th century Europe, this book first takes the readers inside the town of Shady Downs, which is known for its enchanting castle ruins, especially under the full moon. Legend has it that the princess who once lived in that castle lost her love to a duel and she can still be heard crying when the moon is full. It’s said that in the moonlight, the castle ruin can cast a love spell.

Readers are then introduced to Emily Goodrow, a young woman who arrives in Shady Downs to find her long-estranged Aunt Sarah, her only living relative after her mother died. Her search soon leads her to meet two potential suitors—Chad is a kind, gentle man who respects her, while Roderick is an extremely handsome, unattainable man with whom she has electrifying chemistry. Will she chose to settle down with the stable Chad or will Roderick tempt her into a torrid affair?

Appealing to fans of romance fiction, Magic Spell of the Castle Ruin engages readers to prod on through the pages and find out who she chooses in the end.

This book will be featured at the 2012 Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 10-14, 2012.
