Parents With A Purpose Initiative Benefits Single Parent Families at Walton Communities

Parents With A Purpose to offer activities for elementary school children being raised by single parents in select Walton neighborhoods in Georgia.

Walton Communities announces a new partnership with Parents With A Purpose, a non-profit, faith-based organization with the primary mission of providing support and programming for single parent families. As part of the partnership, Parents With A Purpose will be responsible for the programs in Walton Communities’ Adventure Centers.

Six multi-family apartment communities owned and operated by Walton Communities now offer weekday after-school enrichment programs and a summer camp program. The programs are available for children in grades K-5 who reside in Walton Ridenour in Kennesaw, Walton Reserve in Austell, Walton Village in Marietta, Walton Crossing in Austell, Walton Oaks in Augusta and Walton Lakes in Atlanta.

The Community Adventure Centers’ aim is to enhance children’s growth, as well as build their character through positive and interactive activities. The curriculum includes field trips, computer labs, tutoring, crafts, music, art, drama, sports and leadership development programs.
