Our site allows anglers the chance to eliminate unproductive time on the water through detailed fishing maps and tools to help track and log patterns and experiences.
Madison, Wisconsin (PRWEB) September 27, 2012
Fishidy.com, a map-based social network for anglers, has just announced the release of a new, mobile fishing app to supplement the web-based platform. Fishidy.com Mobile adds to the convenience of Fishidy by allowing users to access their online profiles, including interactive fishing and waterway maps and a personal fishing log, through their mobile iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).
“It’s a natural fit for us to have a mobile app for Fishidy.com,” says Brian Jensen, President of Fishidy.com. “Our site allows anglers the chance to eliminate unproductive time on the water through detailed fishing maps and tools to help track and log patterns and experiences. The mobile app is a supplement to the site that can be used while you’re on the water to ensure accuracy and more fish in the boat!”
The online, and now mobile, resource for anglers is the first-ever to include detailed fishing maps and information powered by Fishing Hot Spots®, a trusted name in the fishing industry for close to forty years. The Fishidy.com interactive maps are loaded with valuable data for more than 4,000 waterways nationwide and can now be accessed online or through the mobile app. Anglers can mark, track and view catches with a personal and secure fishing log that connects directly to their online profile. The app also includes realtime GPS coordinates and weather, and lets anglers upload fishing photos from their mobile device to their Fishidy.com profile.
The free Fishidy.com Mobile app is now available in the iTunes store. Premium Memberships are available to all users, which provides hundreds of thousands of proven, marked fishing spots on Fishidy.com maps. Once users upgrade to Premium status online, their app-based profile is also upgraded to include the marked hot spots.
