Lycamobile, the largest global provider of low cost international mobile calls, is celebrating its first appearance in the Tech Track 100, published in The Sunday Times, with sponsors including Hiscox and Barclays.
The league table – now in its twelfth year – is compiled by Fast Track and ranks Britain's private technology companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years, from 2008 to 2011, or 2009 to 2012. Growth ranged from 38% pa to 284% pa, with sales typically between £5m and £50m.
In its first appearance, Lycamobile is ranked second out of a total of 100 companies with latest sales of £116.8 million and an annual sales growth of 247.25 per cent. The report highlights that Lycamobile is a “standalone company… founded and led by the serial telecoms entrepreneur Subaskaran Allirajah. Lycamobile UK’s growth… is driven by rising demand and customer loyalty”.
