David Levy, PE, has joined HNTB Corporation as a senior vice president and HNTB Design Build director with the firm’s Design Build business unit. Levy brings nearly 40 years of experience with public transportation and design-build projects across the nation.
In his new role at HNTB, Levy will work with HNTB’s contractor clients to develop solutions to meet their most pressing construction challenges in the design-build delivery method. He will have responsibility for financial and technical performance of design-build projects under his supervision. The addition of Levy is part of HNTB’s broader expansion efforts within an important growth area for the firm.

Levy is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Cooper Union in New York.
Before joining HNTB, Levy served as director of AECOM's North American design-build practice. He has worked as a project manager on many large, complex projects, including the Denver Union Station Redevelopment project, the Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension in Los Angeles, Metrolink in Southern California, and SoundTransit in Washington state.
