Over 6,000 people attended this year’s HVACR Asia tradeshow, held September 5-7 in Singapore, where Chief Technology Officer of Hartzell Air Movement, Tom Gustafson spoke on sound in industrial fans. Gustafson explains, “The issue of sound and sound attenuation is becoming more important. Dwellings are encroaching on industrial areas, and office spaces are now closer to noise sources.”
Also at the show in early September, President of Hartzell Air Movement, Sean Steimle, described Gustafson’s presentation as “standing room only.” Steimle goes on to explain, “The show was a great success for Hartzell. It allowed us to establish our presence and manufacturing capability in the Singapore market.” Hartzell opened their facility in Singapore in October of 2011.
