“Working with SBS was a pleasure. During the project, communication with SBS was phenomenal; they reacted quickly to our election’s tight time frame and responded rapidly to our requests.”

Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS), a leading provider of election services and secure Internet voting systems, today announced the success of Frontier Natural Products Co-op’s hybrid election system. For the first time, Frontier members were able to vote online in the annual board of directors election.

“Our organization is committed to environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices whenever possible,” said Shannon Ousley, Business Unit Manager – Direct at Frontier Natural Products Co-op. “Therefore, we wanted to reduce the printing and mailing involved with our election process by introducing web voting for our members.”
Frontier members were either emailed an invitation to participate via the web or were mailed a paper ballot if they did not have an email address on file.

SBS was chosen to complete the project based on election consultation and the hybrid voting solution proposed.
