The Warsaw office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak sp.k. advised Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” S.A (ZAP), the leader of the Polish fertilizer sector with respect to a consolidation agreement with Zakłady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Mościcach S.A. (ZAT). Earlier in 2012, the Warsaw team successfully represented ZAP in connection with a defense against a hostile tender offer announced by Synthos. This consolidation will result in the creation of the largest chemical group in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.
Greenberg Traurig's Corporate & Securities team was led by Lejb Fogelman, a Senior Partner in the Warsaw office. His practice focuses on international business transactions in Poland, including private equity, privatization, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, financings, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
