The use of ISO/IEC 20000 Standards in Relation to ITIL® Service Management
Shirley Lacy, Director for ConnectSphere
This session will focus on the best practices of the ITIL service lifecycle and how it can be complemented by the use of the ISO/IEC 20000 standards within the organization using appropriate management systems. This ensures that a service provider can direct and control everything used to deliver and improve the services.

New International Standards for Testing
Stuart Reid, Chief Technology Officer for Testing Solutions Group Ltd
This session will introduce the new ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 Software Testing standards and explain what they will provide to the testing industry. It will include details on the content of these new standards, their development and their likely adoption by the testing industry.
According to ISO, standards are “Guideline documentation that reflects agreements on products, practices or operations by nationally or internationally recognized industrial, professional, trade associations or government bodies.
Standards are based on agreements because they reflect a certain level of consensus. The aim of ISO/IEC 29119 Software Testing standard is to provide one definitive standard that defines the vocabulary, processes, documentation, techniques and process assessment model for software testing that can be used within any software development life cycle.” (ISO/IEC 29119, 2012)
This along with other industry standards will be discussed at the seminar. To register or find out more visit http://testing-solutions.com/professional-standards-in-service-management-and-software-testing
