Global media company Red Herring annually assesses thousands of companies which have led the way in technological innovations during the year, awarding the best with a coveted place on the Top 100 list for their geographical region.
PPCnSEO’s award was secured thanks to the success of their flagship innovation, eCoach Manager. A web-based transport booking system, eCoach Manager enables vehicle hire companies to coordinate customers and assets effortlessly. It automatically handles every aspect of management, from customer enquiries to driver allocation and job completion.
As the only product of its kind, eCoach Manager is widely used by vehicle hire companies across the UK. PPCnSEO is beginning the process of selling the product into other countries.
“Winning a Red Herring award is a great achievement, especially for a company as young as ours. It can only bode well for the future. It is recognition for the effort put in by the staff as well as the company’s commitment to training, staff development and quality business solutions,” said Mark Bond, CEO. “Personally, I am honoured by the award but see it as the start of a long road to building a successful global business. For the company, it is a further building block to help take us forward. I am sure many of our potential customers will see this as a sign of a progressive and professional company and it will help us to win new business. For potential staff, I believe this will help them to decide to make the move and join our ranks and therefore enable us to recruit the best team.
“As a Thai Board of Investment company, we are lucky to have talent from both Thailand and worldwide. This has enabled us to offer international solutions for companies from Australia to the UK and across Thailand and Europe. We hope to continue to attract talented staff and to take the company to the next level. We would again like to thank both the BOI and the City of Pattaya and Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplom for their continued support.”
Red Herring editorial staff choose potential winners from a field of thousands across Asia by examining a range of criteria. These include financial performance, technology innovation, management quality, strategy and market penetration into their respective industries.
PPCnSEO’s track record over the course of the entire year was evaluated to ensure that the final decision was not based on any recent hype.
“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across Asia to the Top 100 Winners. We believe PPCnSEO embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. PPCnSEO should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was the strongest it has ever been.”
Winning a place amongst the Top 100 gives any company a mark of distinction amongst its peers. PPCnSEO was one of only two companies in Thailand to receive the award.
The Top 100 Asia can now go on to compete for the 2012 Red Herring 100 Global Award. Winners for this award will be decided in November.
