Plenty of sausages, bratwurst, sauerkraut and Bavarian music ensure an authentically satisfying celebration!

The Hiller Aviation Museum will be the place to be early next month if you're a fan of Oktoberfest. In the fine tradition of the annual festival held in Munich, the museum is proud to present Oktoberfest Bay Area 2012. The event is scheduled for October 5, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
This Bay Area Oktoberfest will be offering popular international brews such as Staropramen, a pale gold beer that has a combination of malt and hops that stirs the palate in several different ways. It is both soft and crisp, at the same time, with just a hint of bitterness to linger on the tongue.
Spaten is an amber lager from Germany that is slightly bitter, but very focused on the malt. It is a dry and crisp beer that tends to keep Oktoberfest fresh. Stiegl Hefe Weiss offers an exceptionally thick head, a very nice balance of both bitter and smooth, and a somewhat sweet finish that might surprise you.
The Salzburg area graces Oktoberfest with another great option in the Stiegl Pils brew. For this lively beer, Stiegl has chosen Saaz hops, with a slightly minty flavor and combined them with a nicely balanced malt. From Munich comes Hofbrau Lager, a full-bodied brew famous the world over.
Hiller Aviation Museum invites you to join them for Oktoberfest Bay Area 2012. General admission is $5.00 per person. Oktoberfest brews are $5.00 per pour and beer glasses are available to purchase. German food will also be available for separate purchase. Plenty of sausages, bratwurst, sauerkraut and Bavarian music ensure an authentically satisfying celebration. The event goes on rain or shine, and you must be 21 years old to attend. Tickets are available at the door, or online at http://www.hiller.org/oktoberfest.shtml
