Two Hundred Presenters Bring the Latest Technology and Educational Innovations to the 2012 ATMAE Conference

The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) will be holding their Annual Conference “Strengthening Our Connections” at the Nashville Airport Marriott, from November 14 through 17, 2012. Since 1967, ATMAE (formerly known as NAIT) has been bringing leaders in technology and education together to discuss leading edge educational techniques and the latest in engineering technology from industry.

This year, ATMAE will feature nearly two hundred research presentations, in such diverse fields as nanotechnology (Developing a New White Collar Workforce) to Manufacturing (Modeling Supply Chain Dynamics) to Education Administration (Benchmarking Faculty Salaries in Related Disciplines).

The 2012 lineup of workshops includes:

Implementation of the PIC MicroController Training System and Curriculum on Embedded System Designs (funded by NSF and supported by Microchip and micro Engineering Lab)
Using Nanotechnology-based Experiments to Teach NanoScale and Traditional Concepts (sponsored by Dakota County Technical College and the Nano-Link, A Regional Center for Nanotechnology Education)
Modernize Your Tech Program with Microsystems (MEMS) (sponsored by the Southwest Center for Microsystems Education-SCME)
Growing Your Technology Program-Appropriate Strategies that have Worked (presented by Department Chairs at San Jose State University and Ohio University)
Wind Trainer Seminar-Ride the Wind Power Without a Huge Investment (Brought to us by Lotus Creative Innovations, a leader in affordable training systems in wind power systems)
