Amarillo, Texas (PRWEB) September 28, 2012
Street Toyota Scion of Amarillo, Texas held a lunch for its employees to kick off the Live United Campaign this fall. Employees are asked to donate to Live United each year.
“This lunch was meant to get all the employees excited about donating to Live United,” Mike Good, Street Toyota Scion General Manager said. “Live United is a great organization because they support organizations like CASA and other non-profit organizations by giving them money. So by donating to Live United we are donating to other organizations that need money.”
Last year Street Toyota Scion employees donated over $35,000 to Live United and the dealership donated an additional $10,000.
Thirteen employees chose to donate over $1,000 each to Live United last year. Donating $1,000 or more makes the individual a Leader.
“We want to surpass last year’s donation,” Good said. “We want 100% of our employees here to donate; it doesn’t matter how much, every penny counts and goes toward helping out our community.”
