Women In Trucking Member, Linda Caffee, Honored by National Association of Small Trucking Companies

Linda Caffee, Women In Trucking Association Director and owner-operator leased to FedEx Custom Critical, will be recognized as one of twelve Drivers of the Year by the National Association of Small Trucking Companies in November.

We are delighted to have this organization actively involved in our annual meeting for the second year and particularly pleased with the honor of recognizing their driver of the year recipient, Linda Caffee.

The NASTC conference will be held in Nashville, Tennessee November 8-10. The Caffees and the other Drivers of the Year finalists will be introduced during a Friday night reception before they will be treated to a night at the world famous Grand Ole Opry.

Linda has been driving with her husband Bob for over seven years. She is a passionate advocate for drivers and presents a professional image and leads by example as the chairperson of the Driver Health Council of the Trucking Solutions Group, which promotes driver health and wellness.

Linda believes in giving back to the trucking industry and has been visible on trucking websites and trucking related events and when holding driver health walks and blood drives. Linda and Bob’s truck recently took first place in their category at the Great American Trucking Show Pride and Polish competition in Dallas, Texas.

The National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC.com) was founded in 1989 by David Owen and Buster Anderson to establish an active association for small trucking companies nationwide and to serve as an advocate for, a consultant to, and a source for collective buying power for its member companies.

Women In Trucking (womenintrucking.org) was established to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the trucking industry.
