(PRWEB) September 29, 2012
From 5:30 to 10 p.m., on Saturday, October 20, 2012 Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity presents the 8th Annual Mayor’s Ball, an annual event for which the City of Santa Fe selects one nonprofit to produce an event and receive the benefit of free use of the Santa Fe Community Convention Center facilities and services. This year’s event, themed “Raise the Roof,” will showcase Habitat’s program to the community for greater awareness and support as well as help promote our mission to provide affordable home ownership for Santa Fe area residents by constructing simple, adequate houses through the cooperative efforts of volunteers, partner families, donors and staff. Santa Fe Habitat is honored and greatly appreciates this very generous gift from the City and our community. Santa Fe’s premier on-line visitor guide SantaFe.com features this event on the company’s event calendar.
Santa Fe Habitat has built more than 80 affordable homes in Santa Fe since it began in 1986. Come celebrate our 25th anniversary at the Mayor’s Ball -- wear your finest ‘construction formal’ and enjoy an evening to wine, dine, dance and bid at live and silent auctions. Have a blast – ‘Raise the Roof’ – and you will help raise the roof on many more homes for Santa Fe families.
