ST Media Group today announced the formation of Hospitality Media Group, LLC. Hospitality Media Group (HMG) will serve as the hospitality umbrella under which key industry initiatives will be pursued, including development and management of industry trade fairs, conferences and events; the delivery of unprecedented content to the marketplace; and a focus on market connectivity while providing exemplary customer service to the global hospitality industry, according to Tedd Swormstedt, CEO of ST Media Group.
HMG will be comprised of the BDNY trade fair and BD Forums (e.g. Winter, Summer and Fall owner/buyer events). The leadership team will work closely with ST Media brands Hospitality Style and Boutique Design, as well as Hospitality MATCH, to deliver relevant brand extensions. Michael Schneider, creator of BDNY, Hospitality MATCH and Boutique Design magazine, will remain in his current position of Publisher.
HMG’s board of directors have appointed Tedd Swormstedt, CEO and Michelle Finn, President and officers of the newly formed company. Finn joined ST Media Group nearly one year ago after leading the Hospitality Design brand and growing that business from $5M to more than $28M in combined revenues. “With Michelle leading HMG, we anticipate her creative and distinctive business strategies will drive revenue, influence the market and provide our customers with unparalleled business opportunities,” said Swormstedt.
