Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) April 27, 2012
Three of Campbell Property Management’s clients were recognized at The 2012 Communities of Excellence Awards. The Awards recognize communities and managers from across the state of Florida for outstanding achievements. This was the Awards fourth year and over 300,000 Florida residents were represented by the participating communities. The Awards are independently judged by a panel of industry and government professionals who help recognize communities for their best practices and accomplishments in categories including disaster preparedness, civic volunteerism & advocacy, Florida-friendly landscaping, financial innovation, safety and security, best website, and more.
Last year one of Campbell’s clients, Green Cay Village in Boynton Beach, won the 2011 Florida Communities of Excellence Award for Best Web Site. Campbell’s manager, Sandy Diaz, also won the 2011 Managers of Excellence Award, featured in April’s 2012 Florida Community Association Journal.
This year Campbell had three finalists with a total of four finalist nominations. Campbell is proud of the finalists and the two communities who won:
K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Delray Beach won the 2012 Award for Civic Volunteerism & Advocacy. Four Seasons has become involved in a number of organizations to give back to the community. Their primary focus is supporting cancer research through the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami. Other charitable efforts include donations to Toys for Tots, Feed the hungry, AVDA, Hadassah, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Events, such as a walkathon, white elephant sale, and parties are held to raise funds and awareness of different needs. Four Seasons has been a Campbell client since 2011 and is managed by Nicole Paré.
Tuscany Bay HOA, Inc., in Boynton Beach, won the 2012 Award for Financial Innovation and was also a nominated finalist for the Disaster Preparedness Initiatives award. Tuscany Bay, while striving to provide services economically, has kept quality of life and resale value of homes as their primary goal. Aggressive collection and prompt foreclosure action are taken, and an administrative fee has been added to further deter minor fee delinquency. Tuscany Bay regularly updates their disaster and recovery plan and their Community Emergency Response Team meets monthly and maintains a liaison with the local emergency operations center. Communication methods include a Web page and monthly HOA meetings for regular information and a bullhorn, two-way radios, and a ham radio for emergency situations. The community has been with Campbell for five years and is managed by Sandy Diaz.
The Inverrary Association, in Lauderhill, was a finalist for the Disaster Preparedness Initiatives award. Inverrary has followed CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) guidelines in developing a disaster response plan. They participate in countywide disaster drills and also conduct monthly informational meetings. An Inverrary goal is to have a CERT-certified individual in each of the 32 Inverrary associations. Anita Villalon manages multiple communities within the association that have been with Campbell for over 25 years.
Campbell is extremely proud of their clients’ and managers’ hard work and dedication. Campbell would like to thank everyone for their business and continued support.
